Royal St. Andrew s Tudor-styled elegance recalls a time when the resort entertained the Prince of Wales in 1925. The Royal St. Andrews building was originally completed in 1925 in time for the visit of His Royal Highness the Prince of Wales, who stayed together with his entourage in the building. It was at that time a small hotel which was owned by sergeant Major Dunn of the Highlander Regiment. And during the last war it housed the officers of the 43 Air School Situated at the heart of the Sunshine Coast halfway between the cities of Port Elizabeth and East London, the Royal St. Andrews Lodge nestles in a country setting just minutes from the bustling town center.
