The spacious sun deck perched  high above the palmed driveway gives a 180-degree breath taking view of one of South Africa's prime dive site's Aliwal Shoal.

Besides being the final resting place of The Produce and Nebo Wrecks, Aliwal Shoal is the breeding ground of the famous Ragged Tooth Shark. Many other species such as The Great White Shark, Copper Shark, Zambezi or Bull Shark, Whale Shark and Dusky can be seasonaly found here.

The Guest House has a position that is unequaled on this stretch of the coast and you will enjoy the  splendid view of the sun rising above the sea at dawn. At dusk one can star  gaze in the hope of spotting a satellite while sharing a cocktail or  two with friends at our fully stocked pub on the sun deck.

Should you feel the need to explore the ocean, Our Scuba Centre invites you to dive with us. Qualified divers and snorkelers can explore some prime unspoiled dive sites, not often visited or known by other commercial operations.

For those who want to learn to dive we run SSI, CMAS and PADI Scuba Courses from Open Water diver to Instructor. We have two SSI/CMAS and a PADI instructor on staff available to teach.

Scuba Diving

The dive centre at Seaforever is rated as one of the most professionally run centres at Aliwal Shoal, the centre is staffed by Three Instructors and Two dive masters.

Equipped with Online blending Nitrox compressors we are able to offer Airfills that are both extreemly clean and have O2 contents up to 40%.

The Dive Centre is rated as a 5 Star Scuba Pro facility and has a large selection of Scuba Pro dive gear available for rental. All gear is serviced every 100 Hours of diving and all tanks are tested regularly.

The Centre runs two large 8M Semi-Rigid Inflatables (RIB's) that are kept in immaculate and seaworthy condition, these boats are crewed by professional licenced commercial skippers who have been launching at the shoal for many years.

Diving in the underwater world is an endeavour that is amazing, exquisite and fulfilling. From beautiful shallow reefs with tropical fish and plant life to magnificent vertical walls and various ocean encounters, diving offers something for everyone, whether it be for relaxation or adventure.

Since scuba diving started over 50 years ago, diving has become safer, easier and accessible to all those willing to try. There are more experienced divers capable of making sure your dive is as safe, phenomenal, interesting and educational an excursion.

Imagine youself relaxing in a 3M deep heated swimming pool while admiring the Ocean and sipping a cool tall drink in the martini seat. Should you wish to relax, an hour in the heated spa will soak away the days stress.

The Braai / Entertainment Area

Go fishing or diving, then indulge yourself to cook your fresh catch outside at our  braai and entertainment area, which is available at all times.

Fishing licenses can be obtained from the local post office. Indulge yourself on your return by cooking your catch on our braai, which is available to guests at all times.
