On misty mornings, read a magazine in front of your own fireplace, enjoy the superb cuisine and relax in a tranquil environment. When the sun shines, order a picnic at the swimming pool, take a leisurely walk in the nearby forest, listen to the bird calls. Guests have free access to these facilities including a large swimming pool fed by a mountain stream.
Local attractions include scenic mountain drives, hiking trails, forest reserves, waterfalls, boating and fishing on several dams & a rich agricultural environment of avocados, bananas, citrus, mangos, macadamias, tea & timber.
Day hikes to Serala and Iron Crown Mountain peaks in the Wolkberg range, through indigenous forests and pristine grasslands. Rooikat trail along beautiful streams and waterfalls.
A quality fully-serviced guest lodge comprises five double bedrooms suites, with spacious sitting areas, fireplace, & kitchenette. A Cordonbleu kitchen serves traditional English breakfasts and cuisine dinners are optional.

Directions From Tzaneen take Claude Wheatley Street past the hospital and Station and continue for 12 km up into the foothills. The lodge is clearly signposted on the left.
