The exterior of each "hut" resembles the different tribal peoples of Southern Africa, including Zulu, Swazi, North Sotho, Xhosa, Venda, Tsonga, and Ndebele, and the interior is decorated in ethnic fabrics and tribal memorabilia. Facilities include private en-suite bathrooms with showers, air-conditioning, telephone and tea/coffee making facilities. In addition guests can enjoy the visit to the ethnic tribal village and enjoy cultural shows three times per day. Al fresco dining and bar in spectacular forest setting. A thatch-roofed lapa seating up to seating up to 120 people ideal for conferences and events. An added attraction is the snake and crocodile park which consists of many indigenous and exotic reptiles. Guests can also take time to relax around the swimming pool, enjoying the tranquil environment of the African bush. Game drives into the many surrounding Game Reserves and tours to nearby tourists attractions can also be arranged. Follow this road and you will pass the Dumazulu Kraal entrance on your left hand side. • Visitors to the Cultural Experience will park in this car park. • Continue on dirt road to the T junction and turn left, the DumaZulu Lodge entrance will be on your left approximately 500 meters from the junction. • The journey takes approximately 6 hours. Directions from Durban: • Follow the N2 North from Durban. • Travel past Stanger, Gingindlovu, Richards Bay and Kwambonambi. • ±40km after Mtubatuba you will see a sign indicating a turn off to Bushlands/DumaZulu. • Take the turn off and turn right over N2 freeway. Follow this road and you will pass the DumaZulu Kraal entrance on your left hand side. • Visitors to the Cultural Experience will park in this car park. • Continue on dirt road to the T junction and turn left, the DumaZulu Lodge entrance will be on your left approximately 500 meters from the junction.
