The sites have the double advantage to campers of being level and well drained. Dolphin Holiday Resort has over 100 level caravan and camping sites each with 15amp electrical connection available. Selected sites are equipped with TV plug points, so why dont you just unhitch, set-up, connect-up, and put up your feet and relax.... As an added bonus for privacy, the stands are individually hedged, shaded and secure, giving you the peace of mind expected from a top resort such as Dolphin Holiday Resort.
The caravan and camping stands are spacious, so to enable you to spread out and do your own thing. With beautiful trees and plants, it is no wonder that the bird life is so abundant here. Our well-maintained tarred roads offer, "No fuss no mud" camping, and the kids love to roller blade and cycle in the resort.
Self Catering There are eight two-bedroom self-catering cottages located in the resort. They sleep a maximum of six persons, tastefully furnished and are fully equipped, and you only have to bring your beach towels and dishcloths.
The main bedroom has a double bed and the 2nd bedroom two double bunks. The kitchen is fully equipped including a microwave oven, and there is a TV in the open-plan lounge/kitchen area. There is an outside braai/garden area for each cottage.
The cottages are serviced daily with floor and bathroom cleaning only!

The town of Ballito offers a wide variety of things to do and see. There are three shopping centres; two are within walking distance of Dolphin Holiday Resort, offering convenient shopping comfort.
Choose from a wide selection of restaurants and take-aways, including Spur, The Keg, Steers steak house, and Debonairs pizza outlet. In Ballito, there is also a cinema, as well as a selection of nightclubs and pubs where you can socialize and meet the locals.
Ballito offers two beaches that have shark nets and full time life-guards for safe bathing and other surf activities - Willard Beach and Clarke Bay, as well as a tidal pool which is kept clean and is ideal for taking a peak into the underwater life with your goggles and snorkel.
Fishing and diving spots are aplenty at Ballito. Fishermen have a choice of rock and surf fishing as well as deep sea fishing which can be arranged with one of the charters that offer deep-sea fishing. There are beautiful spearfishing and scuba diving reefs nearby for the avid diver.
Dive Nautique offers scuba diving and dolphin viewing. They offer charters to the three wrecks and the two reefs located nearby, and offer 1-day skin-diving courses and excursions. Take a trip on the biggest rubber duck that you can get - experience an exciting surf launch and voyage beyond the breakers to view the frolicking dolphins.
Golfing enthusiasts will be glad to hear that the Umhlali Country Club has a magnificent golf course, as well as tennis and squash courts and bowling greens. There is also the Zimbali golf course with its breathtaking views of the coastline and the sea. Princes Grant Golf Estate is within half an hours drive from Ballito.
The Harold Johnson Nature Reserve, on the banks of the Tugela River, offers walking trails, picnic sites, a small variety of game and a large variety of bird life. The reserve is also home to Fort Pearson and the Ultimatum Tree, both of which are national monuments.
Croc Valley Nature Reserve exhibits live crocodiles, snakes, ostriches and other wildlife. Bird watching, titillating walks through their swamp forest, a tea garden, art and crafts shop, an education centre, picnic and braai spots, are a few of the attractions one can encounter. Crocodile feeding is on Sundays at 3pm.

TGCSA Star Grading FacilitiesThe resort comprises of camp sites both sunny and shady, all with 15 amp electricity. (TV connections are available on certain stands) There are eight fully equipped self catering cottages available consisting of two bedrooms (sleeps six) equipped with TV and private braai area, plus two fully equipped one bedroom (sleeps 2) log cabins, also equipped with TV and braai area. The resort has four modern ablution blocks and a laundry in close proximity to all sites, a scullery and an area exclusively for fishermen to clean their catch of the day. There is plenty to do for everyone including TV, games room, a giant chess set, trampolines, jungle gym, swimming pool, volley ball, tea terrace and Candy Cabin. The Candy Cabin is a childs delight, where sweets, ice creams and cool drinks are sold. If you are more adventurous then you can purchase a licence for a small fee from the Sharks Board which enables you to pick your own muscles off the rocks. The beaches are protected by shark nets and offer safe swimming, tidal pools, fishing and diving spots and educational boat tours are also available. Freezer facilities are also available at a nominal fee. - We offer a sparkling pool with hours of crystal clean fun.

* After you go through the Tongaat Toll Plaza, the next exit is Ballito/Compensation.
* Take this exit, at the top of the offramp turn right towards Ballito.
* Turn left in front of the BP Garage, and then right down the side of the BP Garage into Leonora Drive.
* Carry on down Leonora Drive till you get to a 3-way stop.
* Turn right into Dolphin Crescent.
