It was in this church that the Moffat's daughter, Mary, married the explorer David Livingstone. The 1400 ha Billy Duvenhage Nature Reserve, two kilometres along the Kathu Road, is home to several game and bird species.
De Duine Lodge also runs a second hand book shop with basic stationery supplies.
