We are on the slopes of the Peninsula Mountain chain that has many hiking trails with caves, forests and wonderful views of the Atlantic and Indian Oceans. The richness and variety of the wild flowers is breathtaking. For easier walking follow the path along the edge of False Bay for an hour or so to Kalk Bay with its quaint wooden boat fishing harbour and excellent selection of coffee shops, restaurants, art galleries and junk shops. Muizenberg beach is excellent for surfing and bathing. Several surf shops line the beachfront, providing everything and anything related to surfing. On offer are lessons for beginners, outings to all the beast breaks around greater Cape Town, surfboard and wetsuit rentals, sales and repairs and more. Historical and Cultural:
