Stromboli's Inn is a charming country hotel situated in the heart of the Garden Route, 8 minutes from Plettenberg Bay and 15 minutes from Knysna. We are renowned for our outstanding meals, warm hospitality and homely atmosphere. Log fires blaze in the cosy lounges during winter creating a unique ambience. Recreational activities such as whale and dolphin watching, hiking, mountain biking, bird watching, horse riding, golf, fishing, gliding and canoeing, to mention a few, are all close by. It is the ideal location from which to explore the garden route.

There are 3 types of rooms: Bright and spacious lodges, perfect for honeymooners and guests seeking total comfort. Each has a sitting room area with a fireplace, stimulating spa-bath, mini bar & verandah leading to a private garden. Spacious cottages with sitting room area, en-suite bathroom/shower and a small verandah. And smaller, but comfortable cabins with bath and shower en-suite.

All of these are free standing wooden cottages, and all include radio/alarm clock, tea and coffee, iron and ironing board, telephones, heaters, fans, hairdryers and bathroom amenities. Most of the rooms have their own patio.

The main restaurant serves breakfast, light a 'la carte lunches, and country cuisine in the evening with home made soup and bread. Tea, coffee and port are served after dinner in the lounge.

The large gardens are set out in a 4.5 hectare estate which is home to donkeys, chickens, ducks, guinea fowl, 3 cats and 2 dogs. Bird watching is possible on the estate with many sugarbirds, ibis, waterfowl, birds of prey and many others. The swimming pool area has a gazebo with braai (barbeque) facilities.
