Accommodation Troodos House is situated in 3/4 acre of land, off the main road in a quiet Cul de Sac. Enjoy relaxed accommodation in a beautiful country setting with spectacular mountain and valley views, set against the magnificent mountain-scape of Hout Bay, overlooking the back slopes of Table Mountain and Little lions Head. There are four bedrooms in the main house. Each bedroom has a separate entrance leading from the pool deck to their bedroom. Outside each bedroom all four bedrooms have their own private seating area. All the bedrooms have panoramic views. 10 metre rim flow pool and 120 sq. metre sun deck for guests use.
The bedrooms are all en suite with separate entrances and have ceiling fans, tea / coffee making facilities and colour T.V.'s. Each bedroom has a hair dryer, and a safe. Fridge facilities are provided. 3 rooms have queen size beds, and one room has twin bed (two 3/4 size beds). All the bedrooms have an en-suite bathroom, with a shower and hand basin. There are two beautifully fitted and equipped self-catering cottages, each with double en-suite bedroom (with queen size bed) and lounge with double sleeper couch. French Doors lead out onto a patio and private garden with panoramic views, outdoor furniture and barbecue facilities. The cottages are equipped with TV's, radio, CD players, safe, hair dryer. There are ceiling fans in the living area with a pull down double sleeper sofa. The bathrooms are large and have a double shower and bidet.
The Self Catering cottages offer open plan living areas with fully equipped kitchens that are fitted with 4 plate cooker and oven, washing machine, iron, fridge freezer, microwave, kettle, toaster, coffee machine.All kitchen utensils are supplied. All bed linen and towels are provided, excluding beach towels. Use of pool. Secure Parking inside the property. |

DirectionsFom Cape Town International Airport:
Take N2 to Cape Town. Take the M3 exit to Muizenberg. This goes past the University of Cape Town on your right hand side. At the first and only traffic light you come to since leaving the Airport, turn right towards Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens and follow the M63. Follow this road until you come to a T-Junction. Turn right and follow this road to the Constantia Neck traffic circle. Miss the first turn-off (you go 3/4 around the circle) and take the road to the left going down the hill to Hout Bay. Exactly 4.3 km from the traffic circle turn left up Hughenden Road. The road bears to the left and becomes Whittler's Way. Take the first right off Whittler's Way onto Cherry. At the T.Junction ( Plumtree Avenue ) turn left. Immediately past the first road turn right into Troodos House driveway at the big tree on your right hand side.
From the Waterfront in Cape Town along the Coastal Route:
Follow the M6 through Seapoint / Camps Bay / Llandudno into Hout Bay. At the first traffic light turn left. Left again at the Hout Bay main road (M63 / Constantia). Travel 1 km and turn right into Hughenden Road. Then follow directions as above. |
