We are within walking distance from the Cango Ostrich Show Farm, Karusa Winery and Orchard Fine Foods Deli and Coffee Shop. The Cango Caves, Wilgewandel Holiday Farm, Cango Wildlife Ranch and Rus and Vrede Waterfall are within a radius of 15 km from Die Fonteine.

A visit to Prince Albert via the Swartberg Mountain Range can also lead you to “Die Hel” and is a must see for nature lovers. Do the circular route via the Swartberg Mountain Pass to Prince Albert, Prince Albert through Meiringspoort to De Rust and then back to Oudtshoorn. Meiringspoort is also a well known attraction and has a beautiful picnic spot near the Meiringspoort waterfall.

De Rust is well known for its Donkey Cart project, a community project lead by the people of De Rust. Various scenic gravel roads in the area offer exciting day trips. The Oudtshoorn area is known for its beautiful landscapes and spectacular Klein Karoo sunsets.
