GPS Technology for Golf

Description

The Acronym GPS stands for Global Positioning System. It is a network of 24 orbiting Satellites which transmit information (signals) at the speed of light making it possible for GPS Receivers to precisely identify any location on earth

By mapping predefined points on a golf course (hazards and greens) a GPS device simply performs a mathematical calculation of where it currently is to where the hazards are, thus enabling the user to have live pinpoint yardage at their fingertips

Course mapping information can either be downloaded from the manufacturers website or alternatively courses can be mapped by yourself enabling you to predefine the hazards of interest to your game.
